Soft & Fudgy Chocolate Chip Cookies YIELDS:12 1/2 c. plus 2 tablespoons melted butter 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. plus 2 tablespoons turbinado sugar 1 large egg 2 tsp. white distilled vinegar 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. kosher salt 3/4 c. chocolate chips Flaky sea salt, for garnish Preheat oven to 325° and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl, stir melted butter and sugars until fully incorporated. Stir in egg, then stir in vinegar and vanilla. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to butter mixture and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Using a large cookie scoop, scoop dough (about 3 tablespoons) onto prepared baking sheet about 2” apart. Bake until cookies are slightly golden, 12 to 14 minutes. Garnish with flaky sea salt before serving. If you want medium-sized cookies, use a medium cookie scoop (about 2 tablespoons) and bake for 9 minutes.
